To mark the upcoming Eid Al Adha, Milaidhoo Maldives has curated a journey of culinary discovery and revitalising spa experiences. Designed for guests to create their very own Milaidhoo moments, throughout June, the resort will be holding a series of Maldivian-themed cooking classes, special mocktail- and cocktail-making classes, as well as an exceptional Eid dinner on 28th June. Serenity Spa will also be introducing a new treatment especially for the month.
Led by Milaidhoo’s resident chefs, the cooking classes will be centred around dishes traditionally prepared in the Maldives over Eid – including a reinvented exotic Mas Huni wrap, a spicy smoked tuna dish usually eaten for breakfast, and more adventurous Screw Pine drinks, made from the tropical plant abundant on many Maldivian islands. Resident mixologists will demonstrate how to make some of the most popular and well-loved Middle Eastern drinks, accompanied by delicious, sweet treats. Guests can also opt for a cocktail workshop with the in-house sommelier, who will guide them in creating tailored aperitifs.
As well as hosting the specialist classes and lavish Eid spread on 28th June, Milaidhoo’s signature restaurant Ba’theli will be serving its extraordinary menu – showcasing the absolute best in contemporary Maldivian cuisine, elevated to impeccable levels. ‘Date night’ never seemed more effortless aboard the resort’s sailing boat; guests can enjoy a romantic sunset cruise in the most relaxing of settings, gazing across the shimmering Indian Ocean with the soothing sounds of live Boduberu music playing in the background.
For those wishing to revitalise and unwind, a special couples’ treatment is on offer for the month at Serenity Spa; the 60-minute Maldivian Theyo Dhemun full body massage incorporates medicinal practices used by Maldivians to heal the body, mind and soul.
